Måntaga

Rafaelle’s newest album: Mångata is out now on all platforms.

This album is a cosmic journey inward, an exploration of light in its many hues.

In these shifting times, elders remind us to rise and hold space for peace. This album invites you to pause, journey inward, and reconnect with the peace that dwells within—sometimes hidden, but always present.

Liberation, peace, respect and unity, are not just concepts but colors, vibrations, and harmonic structures.

For those blessed with life's basic securities, a responsibility exists to nurture our inner light for ourselves and the collective.

These tracks explore different hues of light—a cosmic journey inward, a remembering of our core essence, a connection to compassion's constellation, and a prayer for the elements that sustain our home. Each honors mother earth, father sky, and grandmother moon—the cosmic realms nurturing all living beings.

Every track was created in one sitting, with Rafaelle's vocals entirely improvised and captured in first takes—true snapshots of time. Her voice, both lead and harmonies, expresses each storyline through her natural language of feeling. Adrien's compositions create space for the music to breathe, his deep understanding of sound shaping emotion with precision and intuition.

"This is a remembering of who we truly are: peace, compassion, true love with in the many hues of light.”

About Mayu

A organic process — an intuitive voice guiding me along the river of love.

MAYU signifies the river, the rivers that run through us all , the rivers that connect us to each other and to the source, the great mother ocean. We are water, we are surrounded by water, water is life!

This album is inspired by how the river running through us can be connected and felt with our voice , the power of singing connects us, it brings us back to our true source, our heart, our essence.

Collaborations

Origines brings together diverse artists from around the world united by a common purpose: to honour and protect our oceans.

The title reflects the profound truth that all life on Earth originated from the ocean—we are all connected to the water womb that birthed life itself. The album features stunning visual art by Ioana Todosia: "Estero" Cyanotype textile print created on Pacific Coast of Oaxaca, MX. Ioana creates sun prints by dipping cloth into the ocean, allowing nature itself to create the art—capturing the traces where tide meets shore.

The artists behind Origines believe in the power of art to inspire change. Together, we keep hope we can make a difference in protecting the oceans and the majestic beings that call them home.
